Ballydoyle has confirmed former Australian superstar So You Think is being aimed at the Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday week.
The Racing Post reported trainer Aidan O’Brien’s wife Annemarie said on Twitter that So You Think was entered for $US5 million ($A4.79 million) feature at Churchill Downs.
It said stablemate Await The Dawn, who also holds an entry for the Breeders’ Cup Turf, could join So You Think in the Classic.
Dual Cox Plate winner So You Think has had seven starts for O’Brien after leaving Bart Cummings’ care when Coolmore bought a controlling interest in the entire after his third in last year’s Melbourne Cup.
He has won four of his northern hemisphere starts, including three at Group One level, and was fourth in the Arc de Triomphe before his last-start second in the Group One Champion Stakes (2000m) at Ascot on October 15.
The paper said O’Brien had also entered St Nicholas Abbey in the Turf, while Zoffany is entered in the Mile and Misty For Me in the Filly & Mare Turf.
